It can be used for Music Apps, for Photography editing, for Videos (both viewing and editing), for gamers, etc.
It can be used across different software and it will adapt itself accordingly. The workings are not restricted to just those of the previous functions tabs but they also give the user a lot of flexibility to adapt the Bar and use it according to what’s currently playing on the screen. The best part about the new Functions keys (or the lack of them) is that with the Touch Bar, Apple is letting users customise the way they use these keys. The Touch Bar is the same Retina Display that Apple prefers to use across it’s gadgets – most prominently, the iPhone series. There’s a lot of things that this new Touch Bar can do apart from just the functions of the err, “Functions” tabs. So basically, Apple took something that has always been there on every laptop or computer ever and gave it a whole new twist. Along with the Touch Bar, Apple also launched, for the very first time – their Apple ID on the new range of MacBook Pro. And as everyone knows by now, the reason the Apple MacBook Pro 2016 is being so talked about is their new function bar – or rather the way Apple likes to call it – the Touch Bar. For all those who religiously follow Apple this long overdue Apple MacBook Pro update definitely brought to them what they had hoped for.
Apple had not upgraded or unveiled something drastically different in their MacBook series for a long time and this new upgrade seriously outsmarts them all. However, with their new upgrade, Apple has put a big smile on the faces of MacBook buyers and lovers. I can't wait for spring when Apple releases a new iMac.Apple finally launched their Apple MacBook Pro 2016 version, which has been one of the longest awaited upgrades to the Apple MacBook pro line. I'd seriously consider getting one if I were in the market for such a laptop, however my 12" MacBook suits me just fine for what I use it for. I haven't used the one with the touchbar but the 13" without it was pretty nice. Yes, we know Apple needs to update the iMac (Again, nothing to upgrade to)
Yes, we know Apple needs to update the Mac Pro (Nothing to upgrade to) They know at some point a new technology is going to come out and Apple is going to fully switch over to it. This is nothing new and I'm puzzled as to why people think this is, even people who claim they've been buying Apple products for 25yrs. They've always done this and should continue to always do this. This is what Apple does.they push forward when nobody else will.
